    Muslim scientists have made great contributions to science and we are aware of their successes in different fields of science. Some renowned muslim scientists and their contribution are given below:

1. Jabir Bin Hayan (721-815 A.D):

  1. He was born in Iran and practiced in Iraq.
  2. He introduced experimental investigation in chemistry and also wrote several books on plants and animals.
  3. His famous books included Al-Nabatat and Al-Haywan.

Abdul Malik Asmai (740-828 A.D):

  1. He is considered the first Muslim scientist who studied animals in detail.
  2. His famous writing books included Al-Ibil (camel), Al-Kheil (horse), Al-Wahoosh (animals) and Khalaqal-Insan.

Bu Ali Sina (980-1037 A.D):

  1. He is honored as the founder of medicine and called Avicenna in the West.
  2. He was a physician, philosopher, astronomer and poet.
  3.  One of his books Al-Qanoon, Fil Tib Al-Shafa is known as the Canon of Medicine and Al-Shafa.
