Introduction:

An operating system (OS) is a type of software that manages a computer system’s hardware and software resources. The OS acts as an interface between the user and the computer hardware, allowing the user to interact with the computer and run applications. Here are some functions of an operating system:

The OS provides a graphical user interface (GUI) or a command-line interface (CLI) for the user to interact with the computer.
