Linear Graph:

A linear graph, also known as a straight-line graph, is a graphical representation of a linear equation. A linear equation is an equation in which the highest power of the variable is 1. The general form of a linear equation in two variables (x and y) is given by:

y = mx + c

Where:

  • y represents the dependent variable (usually plotted on the vertical or y-axis).
  • x represents the independent variable (usually plotted on the horizontal or x-axis).
  • m represents the slope or gradient of the line.
  • c represents the y-intercept, which is the value of y when x is 0.
